What We Are Looking For We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to guide the strategy, execution, and delivery of custom software solutions, working with teams that integrate GenAI at every step of the software development lifecycle. This is a strategic, client-facing, and hands-on role where you will shape product vision, lead discovery and prioritization, mentor Product Owners, and ensure delivery teams are building the right things in the right way. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, data specialists, and client stakeholders to define product outcomes, drive alignment, and deliver measurable business value. Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership • Partner with clients to understand business goals, user needs, and constraints—translating them into a clear product vision and roadmap. • Lead structured product discovery, including workshops, interviews, research synthesis, and hypothesis-driven prioritization. • Define and maintain outcome-based roadmaps, ensuring all work ties directly to measurable business impact. • Provide thought leadership on how GenAI-enabled delivery can accelerate or enhance product outcomes. • Plan MVP scope and incremental releases that balance value, feasibility, and speed. Backlog Ownership & Product Execution • Oversee the creation and refinement of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria across multiple teams or workstreams. • Ensure backlogs remain prioritized, actionable, and aligned with product strategy. • Coach Product Owners and team members on best practices for story writing, scoping, and quality. • Validate completed work against goals and acceptance criteria and guide release coordination. • Own delivery success by managing scope, refining requirements, preventing scope creep, and proactively aligning stakeholders to ensure the product is delivered on time and to a high quality standard. • Maintain strong alignment between strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day delivery execution. Delivery Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Lead high-quality product and delivery ceremonies, ensuring teams have clarity, purpose, and shared understanding. • Work with Delivery Managers, Tech Leads, and Designers to coordinate sprint execution, clarify requirements, and make real-time decisions. • Identify risks, dependencies, scope shifts, and delivery blockers—resolving issues with urgency and transparency. • Track delivery KPIs (velocity, predictability, cycle time, quality metrics) and drive continuous improvement across teams. • Ensure GenAI tools are leveraged appropriately to accelerate quality and throughput. Client & Stakeholder Partnership • Act as the primary product advisor for senior client stakeholders, helping them navigate prioritization, tradeoffs, and delivery expectations. • Lead roadmap sessions, demos, alignment meetings, and visioning workshops. • Drive decision-making around priorities, MVP definition, and sequencing of delivery work. • Build trusted relationships with clients by providing insight, clarity, and proactive communication. Leadership, Mentorship & Product Craft • Mentor Product Owners and early-career PMs, helping elevate product craft and delivery excellence. • Model strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. • Contribute to internal product frameworks, templates, best practices, and discovery playbooks. • Help shape how Provoke integrates AI-first product thinking into our delivery model and client engagements. Qualifications – Must-Haves • 8+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or hybrid strategy/delivery roles. • Background in professional services or custom software consulting. • Experience leading complex product workstreams or multi-team initiatives. • Proven ability to define product vision, facilitate discovery, and manage outcome-driven roadmaps. • Demonstrated success in consultative or client-facing environments. • Proficiency with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and delivery tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. • Familiarity with or active adoption of GenAI tools to enhance product and delivery workflows. Nice-to-Haves • Exposure to AI-driven products, automation, or data-intensive software. • Certifications such as PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent (not required).
