Duties • Assist licensed electricians with installing wiring, conduit, panels, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics. • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support electrical installation tasks. • Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate wiring layouts. • Handle low voltage systems and assist with high voltage work under supervision, adhering strictly to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. • Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues. • Support frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations on construction sites. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and safety protocols are followed. Requirements • Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly preferred. • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters. • Basic understanding of low voltage wiring systems and adherence to NEC standards. • Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. • Strong interest in developing skills related to high voltage systems and complex electrical installations. • Reliable transportation to job sites; ability to work flexible hours as needed.
