Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with company goals and objectives. This role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Procurement Specialist works closely with internal departments to meet organizational needs while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Duties • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals. • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service. • Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), proposals (RFPs), and purchase orders. • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers and vendors. • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Maintain vendor database and manage ongoing supplier relationships. • Track and report on procurement metrics, cost analysis, and savings initiatives. • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, and project management) to align purchasing with business needs. • Resolve supplier performance issues, delivery delays, or discrepancies. Qualifications • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. • Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management skills. • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa). • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Working Conditions • Office-based role with occasional supplier or site visits. • May require travel for vendor negotiations or audits.
