Summary of the Senior Director of Product Management – Primary Care, Rx & Inpatient Solutions The Sr. Director of Product Management for Primary Care, Rx, and Inpatient Solutions will lead the strategic evolution of the SmartCare™ EHR to support whole-person care across behavioral health and integrated physical health settings. This executive leader combines deep clinical experience with strong product management expertise to shape a next-generation platform that improves clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory readiness. In this “player-coach” role, you will define the product vision while remaining hands-on with strategy execution, including requirements definition, use case documentation, workflow design, UI/UX review, and customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and market partners to deliver innovative capabilities that strengthen our position as the industry leader in behavioral health technology. This position directly supervises up to ten employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position is remote and based in the United States. The salary range is $175,000 - $200,000, DOE. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Responsibilities of the Senior Director of Product Management – Primary Care, Rx & Inpatient Solutions Product Strategy & Vision Develop and execute a unified product strategy for primary care, Rx/ePrescribing, orders/results, and inpatient behavioral health workflows Align roadmap investments with organizational strategy, regulatory trends, and customer needs across behavioral, medical, and integrated care environments Serve as the senior clinical product leader, translating real-world workflows into scalable product capabilities Roadmap & Execution Own the product roadmap, ensuring clear prioritization and value alignment Lead the creation of business requirements, use cases, workflow specifications, and UI concepts Partner with engineering, QA, implementation, and support teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, user-centered features Clinical & Regulatory Expertise Ensure SmartCare remains compliant with ONC, CMS, DEA/EPCS, and state-level requirements Guide clinical safety, workflow integrity, and evidence-based best practices across primary care and inpatient behavioral health functions Customer & Industry Engagement Lead customer user groups with clinicians (MD/DO, NP/PA, RNs) and operational leaders to define pain points, validate solutions, and drive adoption Represent Streamline as a clinical and product domain expert in customer meetings, conferences, and strategic partnerships Performance & Market Insights Evaluate product performance, workflow efficiency, user feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement and competitive differentiation Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers and analysts Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration Sales & Market Alignment Enable sales, marketing, and demo teams with clear product positioning, value messaging, and competitive insights. Requirements of the Senior Director of Product Management – Primary Care, Rx & Inpatient Solutions Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a clinical, informatics, or a related field. Licensed clinical degree: MD/DO, NP (MSN/DNP), PA C (MSPAS), or RN (ADN/BSN). 3+ years clinical experience delivering care in an ambulatory or inpatient setting (MD/DO, NP, PA, RN). 5+ years product management experience designing workflows for physical healthcare environments. CSPO/PSPO, PMP/PMI-ACP, SAFe certification, or similar Strong understanding of ambulatory workflows: eRx/EPCS, med reconciliation, problem lists, allergies, immunizations, labs, orders/results, health maintenance, Medicare Wellness, quality programs, note templates, and billing Knowledge of care coordination, referral management, and operational/clinical reporting Experience in or supporting FQHCs is a plus Knowledge of Inpatient workflows: admission/discharge/transfer, treatment plans, order sets, rounding, vitals/flowsheets, interdisciplinary documentation, and discharge summaries Knowledge of Clinical protocols: CIWA-Ar, COWS, restraint/seclusion documentation, observation levels, incident reporting Knowledge of Medication processes: unit based med pass, eMAR, narcotic workflows, eKits, returns/wastes Deep experience with EHR, Rx, and pharmacy systems as a clinician, product manager, or both Demonstrated knowledge of product strategy, requirements, roadmapping, and iterative delivery Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare regulatory landscape, including ONC, CMS, and DEA EPCS requirements Streamline Healthcare Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
