About This Role Strava is growing, and we’re looking for a Technical Recruiter (Talent Partner II) who brings a strong sense of urgency, sound judgment, and accountability to identifying, assessing, and hiring exceptional talent for our teams. The right candidate can independently manage multiple searches end-to-end, prioritize effectively, and consistently close roles against clear timelines. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers across Engineering, Product, and Design globally, providing timely guidance and clear communication while building high-impact teams that reflect Strava’s values and culture. This role reports directly to the Director of Talent. This is a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite) based in San Francisco, California or NYC. What You’ll Do: Own your requisition load end-to-end with minimal oversight, proactively identifying blockers and driving solutions independently Manage candidates and build relationships through the full recruitment life cycle Build talent pipelines for multiple requisitions, taking the time to ensure we’ve built a strong and diverse candidate pool Build credibility and relationships with hiring managers, understanding team structures and styles Proactively communicate search status, pipeline health, and potential risks to hiring managers and leadership Run searches and engage with passive candidates via LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms Source qualified candidates, review a high volume of resumes, and pre-screen candidates while moving the interview process forward in a timely manner Work to provide positive and exceptional interview experiences for candidates and the hiring team Actively work on talent projects that positively impact the overall Strava organization, such as events, programs and internal ways of working. What You’ll Bring to the Team: 4+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house recruiting and/or with a search firm) across multiple time zones. International experience is a plus. Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, make trade-off decisions, and escalate appropriately when needed Experience recruiting engineers (backend, mobile, data), product managers, and designers Experience in building and managing an inclusive pipeline Ability to recruit across a range of functions beyond product development as business needs evolve Extensive experience creating dynamic sourcing strategies with or without the use of LinkedIn Recruiter (including advanced Boolean search techniques, X-Ray, etc.) Baseline knowledge of programming languages, web, and emerging technologies Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and great follow-through A positive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly A sincere understanding of the importance of building rapport with active and passive candidates of all levels Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Ashby preferred) Highly self-directed with a track record of succeeding in environments with minimal oversight Proficient with Google Workspace Why Join Us?
