Position Overview The Operations Manager serves as a key regional leader with full responsibility for operational performance, financial oversight, customer satisfaction, and team management within the Detroit market. Based onsite at our Madison Heights facility, this role requires regular travel to customer locations to support project launches, ensure quality and compliance, and partner closely with Account Management, Recruiting, and Scheduling teams. You will lead the successful execution of quality sorting, inspection, and containment projects while ensuring teams are trained, processes are followed, and customers remain confident in Stratosphere Quality’s services. Full-Time | Onsite | $75,000–$80,000 Annually Monthly Auto Allowance + Company Credit Card Essential Job Function: Job Requirements • Must work onsite at the Madison Heights, MI location. • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites throughout the Detroit area. • Valid driver’s license and pass a MVR, ability to meet travel demands (auto allowance included in Salary). • Flexible schedule aligned with operational and customer needs. • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. • Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable. • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities. • Ability to respond quickly to customer needs or escalations, including short-notice travel. Qualifications: Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. • Minimum 5 years of leadership/management experience overseeing hourly and salaried staff. • Experience in Quality Inspection and/or Manufacturing preferred. • Automotive OEM plant experience or working knowledge strongly preferred. • Proven ability to train teams on processes and procedures. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
