Strategio - Financial Data Analyst - Hybrid, Montreal, QC The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Financial Data Analyst who thrives in backend data environments and enjoys turning complex financial concepts into structured, scalable data solutions. This role sits at the heart of a high-impact data transformation initiative, where your work will directly influence financial visibility and decision-making. You’ll play a key role in building the data foundation for financial reporting and later contribute to the development of a financial modeling tool used to simulate business outcomes. You’re comfortable navigating large datasets, structuring messy information, and translating financial concepts into clean, usable logic. You enjoy working behind the scenes, building the backbone that powers insights. You ask smart questions, think in systems, and take pride in delivering solutions that actually make sense to the business. As a Strategio Snowflake Data Analyst, you will: • Build and optimize data structures within Snowflake to support financial reporting • Write and maintain complex SnowSQL queries for large-scale datasets • Translate financial concepts like cost allocation and P&L structures into data models • Support the development of a financial modeling tool for business decision-making • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and solve data challenges • Improve data transparency and reporting processes • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability across environments Core Skills: • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake • Advanced SnowSQL expertise (writing and optimizing complex queries) • Experience working with large datasets in cloud data environments • Experience supporting financial dashboards or modeling tools • Solid understanding of financial concepts (cost allocation, depreciation, P&L structures) • Data modeling and transformation experience • Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Nice-to-Haves: • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools • Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot Your job search ends here.
