💡 About the Opportunity We’re hiring Interface Engineers to support a Microsoft-aligned healthcare technology organization delivering enterprise clinical integrations nationwide. This is a fully remote, long-term contract (12+ months) focused on building and supporting HL7-based interfaces across hospital and EMR environments. If you enjoy hands-on integration work, troubleshooting real-world clinical data flows, and collaborating directly with customers — this role is for you. 🚀 What You’ll Do • Build, configure, and test HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM, SIU, etc.) • Define interface specifications based on client and vendor requirements • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues (data flow, mapping, connectivity) • Work directly with healthcare customers during implementations • Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, and Microsoft-aligned teams • Support go-lives and post-production stabilization ✅ Required Skills (Must Have) • 2+ years of hands-on HL7 interface development experience • Experience building/testing interfaces with clients • Understanding of HL7 message structure (segments, triggers, components) • Experience with an interface engine (Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, etc.) • Basic to intermediate SQL query writing • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills ⭐ Nice to Have • Epic, Cerner, or other EMR integration experience • TLS / mTLS experience • XML or JavaScript • PowerScribe or PACS familiarity 📍 Work Details • Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) • Duration: 12+ months 🎯 Why Apply? • Long-term, stable contract • High-impact healthcare integration work • Exposure to enterprise Microsoft-aligned healthcare systems • Collaborative, engineering-focused environment
