Role Overview: As an IAM Engineer at Strategic Systems, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing identity and access management systems to safeguard sensitive information. You will be responsible for the day-to-day security operations within Retail Services, focusing on security-related applications to maintain a secure and compliant environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage and support identity and access management (IAM) systems to ensure secure user authentication and authorization. - You will monitor and respond to security incidents related to IAM applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security policies and procedures. - You will conduct regular audits and access reviews to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. - You will troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will assist in the design and deployment of new IAM solutions and enhancements. - You will document security processes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. - You will stay current with emerging IAM technologies and best practices to recommend improvements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in identity and access management engineering or a related security role. - Strong knowledge of IAM tools such as Okta, SailPoint, or similar platforms. - Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards like NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and integration. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in retail or financial services sectors. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM). - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their IAM services. - Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and implementation.
