Job Title: Sr Field Services Support Company Overview: Strategic Systems is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, specializing in delivering exceptional IT services to clients across various industries. Role Overview: As a Senior Field Services Support professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of client systems in the North of Boston area. You will be the frontline technical expert, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues and enhance system performance. What You'll Do: - You will provide on-site technical support and maintenance for client systems in the North of Boston area. - You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize downtime. - You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement system upgrades and improvements. - You will document service activities, incidents, and resolutions accurately for future reference. - You will train and mentor junior field service technicians to enhance team capabilities. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during all service activities. - You will participate in after-hours support and emergency response as needed. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in field services support or a related technical role. - You have strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals. - You possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - You have effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. - You are comfortable with travel within the North of Boston area and flexible scheduling. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with specific technologies such as Cisco networking equipment or Microsoft server environments. - Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional. - Previous experience mentoring or leading a technical support team. - Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
