Job Description Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an IT Project Manager - Digital Factory, a W2 contract opportunity!. IT Project Manager - Digital Factory Duration: 24 months Role Type: W2 contract with possibility of extension. Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid-3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) Location: Detroit, MI This is a W2 contract opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO C2C/No 1099 eligibility for this position. Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Project Manager to take ownership of the execution, coordination, and delivery of key digital and technology initiatives. This role is responsible for driving projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are effectively managed while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders across IT and the business. Key Responsibilities Lead endtoend execution of assigned IT and digital projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and quality expectations Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including task sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and resource coordination Manage daytoday project activities, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and work progresses on schedule Proactively identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed with recommended mitigation strategies Coordinate crossfunctional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners Provide clear, concise, and timely project communications, including status updates, issue reporting, and documentation Ensure project documentation, reporting, and records are maintained in accordance with Digital Factory and IT governance standards Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes within the Digital Factory model Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Proven experience delivering IT or digital projects in a structured project management environment Strong skills in: Time management and scheduling Task prioritization and workflow coordination Dependency management across teams and systems Project reporting and documentation Written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience working in agile, hybrid, or Digital Factory delivery models. Familiarity with IT project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or similar) Experience supporting enterprise or utilityscale technology initiatives. Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) Key Competencies Highly organized and detailoriented Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
