Job Title: Client Partner – Process Optimization Technology Type: FTE/Contract Location: Remote (CST) Role Overview The Client Partner – Process Optimization Technology will serve as the strategic advisor and primary engagement owner for utility clients, driving data- and AI-led process optimization initiatives across operations, compliance, planning, and throughput optimization. The role bridges client business stakeholders and delivery teams to identify, shape, and scale analytics and AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and asset utilization. This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong domain exposure to utilities and industrial operations, combined with hands-on experience delivering data, analytics, and AI programs. Key Responsibilities Client Leadership & Account Ownership • Act as the primary client partner for utility accounts, owning executive relationships across Operations, EHS, Compliance, Planning, and IT. • Understand client operational workflows (e.g., inventory planning, scheduling, throughput optimization, compliance-driven operations) and translate them into data & AI solution roadmaps. • Drive account growth through solution expansion, cross-sell, and upsell of analytics and AI capabilities. Data & AI Solutioning for Process Optimization • Lead discovery and baseline assessments to identify operational constraints, risks, and optimization opportunities. • Shape AI- and analytics-driven solutions across areas such as: • Inventory visibility and normalization • Rule-based and AI-driven automation (e.g., planning, sequencing, prioritization) • Compliance risk monitoring and threshold-based decisioning • Throughput and capacity optimization under regulatory constraints • Guide the definition of business rules, decision frameworks, KPIs, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with client stakeholders. Program & Delivery Oversight • Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of pilots and scaled implementations. • Ensure solutions are explainable, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements. • Oversee validation, performance tracking, and continuous optimization post-deployment. Value Realization & Governance • Define and track measurable business outcomes such as cost reduction, throughput improvement, risk reduction, and compliance adherence. • Establish governance models for data quality, model adoption, and operational decisioning. • Support change management and adoption across business users. Required Qualifications • 10–15+ years of experience in client-facing roles within data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation. • Strong domain exposure to utilities, energy, industrial operations, or regulated environments. • Proven experience leading process optimization initiatives using data, analytics, and AI. • Ability to translate complex operational and regulatory requirements into scalable analytical solutions. • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with optimization, rules engines, decision frameworks, and AI/ML applications in operations. • Familiarity with compliance-driven processes (EHS, regulatory thresholds, risk bands, acceptance criteria). • Exposure to platforms and tools used in enterprise analytics and AI ecosystems (cloud, data platforms, BI, ML). • Experience running pilots, validations, and KPI-based performance tracking programs. • Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposal development and deal shaping. Success Metrics • Demonstrated improvement in client operational KPIs (efficiency, throughput, cost, compliance). • Growth of account revenue through expanded Data & AI engagements. • High client satisfaction and repeat business. • Successful transition from pilot initiatives to scaled, production-grade solutions.
