Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to the guests’ needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Bartender Responsibilities may include: • Greet guests, take beverage orders from the servers or directly from guests. • Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered. • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol • Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures • Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts • Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory • Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate. • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions. Prior experience as Bartender, barman, mixologist, bar back is very helpful to the success at this job Requirements/Responsibilities Bartender / Mixologist Requirements: • Previous bartending experience / training • Excellent oral communication skills • Positive interpersonal skills – be a good listener • The ability to multi task and work well in a high volume work environment • Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus • Must have valid or be able obtain a food handler card in first 30 days Prior experience as Bartender, barman, mixologist, bar back is very helpful to the success at this job Special Instructions Please do not send any emails, resumes, or call.
