Overview: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the strategic management of all production-related supply chain functions, including procurement of raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing inputs. This role leads the production planning team, ensuring alignment between material availability, production schedules, warehousing capacity, and sales needs. They will develop strategies that improve supply assurance, optimize costs, and enhance efficiency across the end-to-end production supply chain. Responsibilities: Provide leadership and oversight to production planners, who manage inventory flow. Lead strategic planning and procurement for production materials, packaging, and inputs. Develop and manages vendor partnerships with a focus on cost, quality, and reliability. Implement strategies for reducing obsolescence, improving turnover, and minimizing risk. Partner with operations leadership to align on material availability and production attainment. Establish KPIs and reporting for planners and suppliers to track efficiency and performance. Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency sourcing plans. Collaborate with finance on budgeting, cost forecasting, and long-term planning. Work with compliance, operations, and inventory teams to ensure regulatory requirements. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and leverage data insights. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma (or GED) required, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5+ years in supply chain, planning, procurement, or operations; cannabis industry experience preferred. Proven leadership with experience managing operational teams across the supply chain. Strong background in supply chain strategy, vendor management, and risk mitigation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional partnership abilities. Experience with cannabis software, ERP systems, and compliance tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Physical Requirements: This role requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
