Full Description

Role Objective To lead front-end relationship building, strategic business development, and liaison activities for Sterling ITC Group across U.S. highways, bridges, and transportation programs through teaming, design sub-consulting, and collaborative pursuits. Key Responsibilities Industry Outreach & Relationship Development Develop and manage relationships with: • U.S. transportation consulting firms • EPC & Design-Build contractors • Infrastructure developers • Public-sector agencies & owners Market Intelligence & Opportunity Generation • Identify and track: • RFQs, RFPs, and Expressions of Interest • Teaming, JV, and sub-consulting opportunities • Overflow design and parallel delivery needs Strategic Introductions & Teaming Introduce Sterling ITC Group as: • A highway & bridge design subconsultant • A supplemental engineering capacity partner Facilitate: • Introductions to decision-makers • NDAs and confidentiality frameworks • Teaming and collaboration discussions Bid Support & Coordination Support collaborative pursuits by: • Coordinating technical capability presentations • Aligning internal and external stakeholders during bid stages • Handing over opportunities to Sterling’s proposal & leadership teams Reporting & Performance Tracking Provide: • Weekly activity updates • Monthly opportunity tracking summaries • Maintain disciplined visibility across: • Pipeline movement • Conversion stages • Strategic positioning Engagement Structure • Independent contractor (not employment) • Commission-based, partnership-led engagement • Long-term revenue participation linked to successful project outcomes • No authority over commercial pricing or contract execution Preferred Background 10+ years in: • Infrastructure business development • Transportation consulting sales • Government contracting capture / liaison Established credibility with: • Transportation consultants • EPC & DB contractors • Public-sector clients • Strong working understanding of: • Highway & bridge programs • State DOT procurement • Design–Build & public procurement models Regions of Immediate Interest Texas | California | Washington | Florida | New York / New Jersey Engagement Philosophy Sterling ITC Group pursues measured, technically grounded international growth.
