Hire Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $130,000 – $195,000 + bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Bonus Position Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives while building and developing a high-performing technical team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic yet hands-on leader focused on safety, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. • Oversee capital projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. • Manage equipment installations, modifications, and preventative maintenance to improve production uptime and efficiency. • Mentor and develop engineering staff to strengthen technical expertise and engagement. • Implement work systems, procedures, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. • Partner with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Safety teams to align on priorities and successfully execute projects. • Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. • Stay current on new technologies and industry trends to enhance plant performance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required. • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in food manufacturing (confectionery or snack industry preferred). • Broad technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, process air, packaging systems, and controls. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and competing priorities. • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. • Flexibility to evaluate and support off-shift operations as needed.
