We are supporting a major heavy manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial and capital projects. This company has a long-established footprint in the manufacturing sector and continues to invest in modernization, advanced technologies, and workforce development. This role offers the opportunity to influence major operational initiatives and drive performance improvements across a complex production environment. Key Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate, and execute industrial and capital projects within a heavy manufacturing environment • Build and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project • Oversee project scope, resources, budgets, and timelines to align with organizational goals • Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and external contractors • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders • Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle • Prepare and deliver project documentation, reporting, and closeout summaries Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field • 5+ years of project management experience within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is required • Strong background in capital project execution, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management • Experience working with cross-functional teams in union or non-union environments
