Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications: Stellar Solutions is seeking a Program Manager/Systems Engineer to join a team supporting a commercial space communications program. This is an immediate hire position. The candidate would join a fully remote team in the design, development, test, and deployment of communications satellites. Useful for the team is a knowledge of traditional aerospace and new space systems in low earth orbit (LEO). You will apply your skill through unit development, system level assembly, integration and test, as well as on-orbit operations. You will contribute to architectural and mission success of a next generation space system that will be utilized by a variety of global customers. In this role, you will: • Interface with a cross-functional team of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, ensuring alignment with program goals and schedule • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks • Oversee system engineering and design reviews, ensuring technical specifications and performance requirements are met • Manage procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of critical components and services • Develop and present regular program status reports, including financial and technical performance metrics, to senior leadership • Ensure program compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance protocols • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness • Coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers Required skills: • 5+ years of experience in the space industry • 5+ years of experience analyzing and presenting technical data (oral or written) • Proven experience in program or project management within the aerospace, automotive, or telecommunications industry • Satellite program experience • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Clearance eligible Desired skills: • Demonstrated experience managing satellite or space systems programs (or similarly complex programs) • Digital communications payload experience • Jira and Confluence experience • Self-starting individual that is comfortable working with some level of ambiguity Education: • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Material Science Compensation: The typical salary range for this position is USD $180,000 - $210,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits.
