The Project Manager for Finished Vehicle Logistics is responsible support US, Canada & Mexico for driving strategic initiatives that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of vehicle logistics operations. This role oversees benchmarking studies, system application implementation, and operational launch support to ensure seamless delivery performance and alignment with business objectives. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on project management to optimize cost, quality, and customer satisfaction across the logistics network. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Lead benchmarking initiatives to evaluate logistics best practices, identify performance gaps, and recommend process improvements • Manage the design, testing, and deployment of new logistics systems and digital applications to streamline operations • Support vehicle launch programs by coordinating logistics readiness, system integration, and process validation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, IT, Manufacturing, Operations, and Carrier Partners) to ensure alignment and timely execution of logistics projects • Monitor performance metrics (cost, dwell time, delivery accuracy, carrier performance) and implement corrective actions as needed • Develop project timelines, budgets, and reporting tools to track progress and ensure accountability • Provide training, documentation, and change management support during system and process rollouts • Engage with external stakeholders, including carriers, dealers, and third-party logistics providers, to strengthen the supply chain network Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science or a related field • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics or a related field • Proven ability of managing and developing others • Deep understanding of shipping docks including the mechanics, programming and operations • Business acumen, ability to develop business plans and utilize financial data to drive business decisions • Systems understanding - ability to utilize and develop systems to improve operations and reporting • Technical Expertise - ability to oversee, design and implement dock solutions • Ability to work with experts from many disciplines and organizations to develop and implement benchmark processes
