You have a Bachelor's degree and extensive leadership experience but do not have the 8+ years of automotive program management or engineering experience required.
The Design Program Manager (DPM) leads a vehicle project team and ensures consistent delivery of all program objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Lead issue management, validation, escalation, and resolution across the program. * Identify perceived quality risks and drive improvements to meet vehicle-level PQ targets. * Provide DDM KPIs for the Design Assessment Scorecard. * Drive “must-have” engineering requirements in collaboration with PDO, BCI, VPE, and suppliers. * Manage “must-have” assessment loops and ensure timely closure of open items. * Lead corner model reviews, issue discovery, and resolution activities. * Represent the DDM team in PQ virtual reviews and CX three‑party assessments. * Oversee gap and flush convergence to meet design quality targets. * Manage dimensional CTFList development and ensure accurate quality requirements in source packages. * Oversee Stellantis PIS convergence throughout development. * Manage project manpower budgets. * Maintain the overall program timing schedule. * Monitor program KPIs and publish the weekly program management scorecard. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering * Minimum of 8 years of automotive experience in program management, product development, or quality * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills * Self‑motivated, with a passion for automobiles and a strong focus on quality Preferred Qualifications: * Program management experience
