Project Planner will serve as a strategic partner to the North America Chassis Purchasing leadership team, enabling disciplined execution, robust prioritization, and executive‑ready reporting across a range of high‑impact workstreams. This role will drive structured planning, data‑based decision‑making, and organizational alignment across topics such as tariff management and mitigation, TPC / should‑cost analysis, performance tracking, and cross‑functional program execution. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in fast‑moving environments, can bring order to complexity, and enjoys working across a broad group of stakeholders—from engineering to cost, finance, suppliers, and purchasing leadership. The role will have significant leadership visibility and will temporarily assume continuity responsibilities for certain key strategic workflows—ensuring business rhythm, reporting cadence, and decision support remain uninterrupted. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field * 8 years of experience in purchasing, program management, cost analysis, or strategic planning (automotive experience strongly preferred) * Strong analytical and financial acumen; proven ability to work with complex cost structures, should‑cost models, or large datasets * Expert‑level PowerPoint skills and ability to craft senior‑executive‑ready materials with clear narratives and strategic framing * Exceptional organizational discipline—creates structure, anticipates needs, and delivers high‑quality output under tight timelines * Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across cross‑functional teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience supporting TPC, should‑cost, cost engineering, or supplier negotiations * Understanding of global trade impacts, tariffs, or sourcing footprint dynamics * Experience in a high‑visibility environment or roles requiring interaction with VP, C‑suite, or CEO‑level forums
