We are seeking a UX Researcher to support a mission-critical Defense Aviation Logistics application used by federal customers. This role is focused on deep user research, usability validation, and workflow optimization in high-consequence operational environments. You will work closely with UX designers, engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to ensure the system supports aviation readiness, sustainment, and operational planning. \n Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching Paid Time Off Paid Federal Holidays Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in UX Research, Human Factors, or related roles. Demonstrated experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or hybrid UX/PO role. Strong command of UX research methodologies and product discovery practices. Experience influencing roadmaps and delivery decisions through research. Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills. Experience working in regulated or high-risk environments (healthcare, government, finance). Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthcare, health IT, medical claims, or clinical decision support systems. Familiarity with compliance-driven workflows (e.g., HIPAA). Experience designing or researching systems where explainability and defensibility are required. Tools & Artifacts Figma, FigJam, or similar collaboration tools UX research platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop) Documentation tools for research readouts and product artifacts \n $125,000 - $145,000 a year A salary commensurate with background and experience will be offered. \n SteerBridge Strategies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
