About the position This position is responsible for maintaining approximately \$100k worth of auto parts inventory in stock to ensure that all Motor Fleet vehicles stay operational. The employee is responsible for the supervision of one Inventory Associate (parts clerks). Responsibilities • Maintaining approximately \$100k worth of auto parts inventory • Supervision of one Inventory Associate (parts clerks) Requirements • Extensive automotive working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. • Ability to lead and manage employees. • Experience using a computer and utilizing software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. • Experience in managing and reconciling P-Cards. • Experience utilizing garage management software from a fleet management company • Experience in overseeing warehouse operation and managing an inventory system • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and three years of supervisory experience in warehouse or storage operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Nice-to-haves • Experience with NCAS is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with Fleet Garage Management Systems (GMS) or equivalent Auto Garage/ Vehicle Workshop Management Software System. • Preferred applicant will have experience working in a supervisor's position for at least 3 years performing direct daily supervision. • Preferred applicant will have experience in the purchasing of oil, parts and other related supplies and maintaining service and repair records on all equipment and vehicles.
