Description of Work Salary Range: $28,194.00 - $49,340.00 This position is located at Davidson Correctional Center in Davidson County, NC. The primary purpose of this position is to independently serve as an Administrative Associate II in the Administrative Office Department. Work duties will include all receptionist functions, typing correspondence, filing, compiling records, record keeping, and other related duties as directed. Must comprehend and abide by policy and procedures of NCDAC Adult Corrections. Must be able to interpret instructions given verbally and / or written form through manual, memorandum or other directive. Must be able to work independently, effectively communicate with other staff, other state agencies, and the general public verbal, and written form, utilizing existing communication systems. Attend and comprehend training sessions and effectively maintain files and records according to departmental policy. Daily monitoring of time sensitive issues. Must be able to walk, lift, kneel, stoop, talk, hear and perform repetitive motion and does require close visual activity.
