Minimum Qualifications • Knowledgeable in and experience with safely performing facility custodial procedures. • Knowledgeable in the proper use of custodial maintenance equipment, custodial chemicals, mechanical and physical plant equipment and grounds keeping operations. • Knowledge of state approved cleaning agents and the ability to properly and safely use and store. • Participate in training activities so the best possible service is provided. • Possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions as pertains to assigned duties and job performance. • Possess a valid state driver’s license. • Ability to safely and effectively use grounds keeping equipment. • Ability to use computer-based maintenance management system. • Ability to read and understand directions, operations manuals, operating instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets. • Ability to pass security requirements necessary for network access on the MN National Guard systems. • Able to work at other assigned facilities within Metro Region work area as required by mission. Must pass a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications • Extensive experience performing essential work functions of facility custodial maintenance. • Experience performing snow removal operations.
