Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Medical and Ambulatory Services Quality Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Central Pre-Admissions Management Analyst! This position will oversee a portfolio of projects dedicated to improving the patient process through pre-admissions and admissions. As the project manager for interdisciplinary task forces, the incumbent will provide management with information necessary for decision-making and long range organizational or systems planning in an area such as records and publication management, information flow, systems analysis/design, creating reports, performance improvement projects and other data gathering and analysis activities. The incumbent will also perform audit and quality assurance functions in terms of providing leadwork direction and review to high-level professional staff. The incumbent will also be consulting with Central Pre-admissions management and quality in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for ongoing data needs and continuous improvement projects. Primary Responsibilities: • Direct development, coordination, and evaluation of performance and continuous improvement efforts for Central Pre-Admissions. • Coordinate project management and assignments to meet quality, strategic and performance objectives. Implement special projects. • Review literature to keep current on best practices in data analytics and its relationship to strategic planning and performance improvement. • Conduct mapping and Lean Six Sigma analysis related to highly complex organizational processes and key performance indicators. • Coaching others on related principles for most effective project implementation. Three (3) years' of qualitative and quantitative analysis experience in a healthcare setting that demonstrates the following: • Qualitative and quantitative analysis sufficient to provide relevant data sets to decision-makers and to evaluate program results, provide timely analysis and visualizations. • Project management sufficient to organize projects and advocate for resources to ensure the successful completion of the project. • Have demonstrated ability to effectively utilize staff with applicable expertise and specializations and maintain effective partnerships. • Demonstrated experience conducting process and performance improvement projects using best practice methods (Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc.). • Strategy creation, implementation, data integration, and results retrospective theory sufficient to oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of tools, initiatives, and department functions. • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. • Hands on experience and knowledge of computer software applications sufficient to aggregate data, create spreadsheets from a variety of sources and compile lists, spreadsheets, and graphs to track projects and activities. • EMR knowledge/expertise and helping communicate EMR/IT improvement needs. • Demonstrated analytical methods and data interpretation knowledge sufficient to serve as a technical expert before departmental committees and other forums. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in public health, science, health science, health informatics, data or computer science, statistics, or other area of focus that is highly related to the position. • Lean Six Sigma certification (i.e. green or black belt). • Experience in a behavioral healthcare system. • Experience developing reporting and analytical databases. • Ability to lead the development of policies, procedures, and data systems. • Ability to build strong working relationships with medical practitioners and senior leadership. • Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
