The Strategic Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for driving the execution of high-priority strategic initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business units, and cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives and initiatives into actionable plans, manage complex projects, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines including resource and stakeholder requirements, dependencies, and critical path, and produce associated communications materials to support execution. • Proactively manage and communicate project objectives, expectations, and strategic impacts to team members and key stakeholders. • Assume operational authority over assigned projects; independently leading cross-functional project teams, delegating responsibilities, and driving projects to successful completion. • Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate project management tools, and define and communicate project success criteria throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate enterprise, cross-functional collaboration by coordinating work across multiple business units and resolving issues, risks, and conflicts that may impact delivery. • Facilitate meetings with large, cross-functional audiences, present findings and recommendations, and support decision-making at multiple organizational levels. • Analyze business processes and practices, document workflows visually (e.g., Visio), identify improvement opportunities, and communicate findings and recommendations through written and presentation-based deliverables. • Develop and deliver project artifacts—including progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive-level presentations—to support strategy-driven initiatives and leadership decision-making • Build and maintain strong business relationships across the organization to support collaboration and successful project outcomes. • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from the organization’s CRM (i.e., Salesforce) to inform project decisions, track strategic alignment, and support leadership decision-making. • Apply an enterprise-wide understanding of organizational functions and priorities to assess project alignment with strategic objectives and recommend adjustments as needed. • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management best practices and tools to support strategy-driven initiatives. • Ensure projects and recommendations are aligned strategic and organizational goals at the forefront. • Communicate project progress and status updates to management, leadership, and other stakeholders, as appropriate. • Contribute to development of uniform organizational and team templates and documentation standards. Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training in economic development, project management, business analysis, or administration. Experience in lean process improvement or analyzing data from business systems and supporting strategy-driven initiatives is preferred.
