Perform routine janitorial duties to keep office and building areas clean and orderly under supervision.
Must meet minimum qualifications for Custodian I, including ability to perform physical janitorial tasks and pass pre-employment clearances.
Under the supervision of the Business Services Officer III, the incumbent serves as a member of the facility maintenance support services unit. Responsible for performing routine janitorial duties by keeping the office, meeting rooms, and other areas of the building clean and orderly. You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement .Working Conditions May be required to bend, squat, kneel, stoop, sit, reach overhead, and pull, lift, or move machinery (e.g., vacuum, buffing machine) while performing janitorial duties. The employee will work under LED lighting in a temperature-controlled environment and may be required to climb stairs and lift or carry 25-35 lbs. ** This position has a Pay Differential 515 - State Special Schools Recruitment and Retention of 10% of the base salary. The pay differential is not included in the salary listed below. ** ** Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented.
