Personal Assistant to Beauty Business Owner Baltimore, MD (some remote work available) We are a fast-growing, locally-owned beauty business with multiple store locations and a popular makeup brand. Our mission is to provide exceptional beauty services while building a strong online presence. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Personal Assistant to help manage day-to-day business operations, scheduling, and marketing support for the business owner. This role is perfect for someone highly organized, reliable, and motivated. You will work closely with the business owner to handle administrative tasks, coordinate with staff, manage customer communications, support hiring, and help plan marketing and content initiatives. You will become a key part of our team and play an important role in helping the business grow. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Manage business owner’s schedule, appointments, and reminders • Organize interviews, review applications, and assist in hiring staff • Communicate with employees, manage call-outs, and coordinate shifts • Handle administrative tasks (emails, calls, documentation, inventory tracking) • Assist with basic marketing tasks, such as posting sales, sending customer emails, and scheduling promotions • Coordinate with third-party vendors (photographers, web designers, service providers) • Assist with planning and organizing content, photo shoots, and events • Occasionally run errands or drop off materials between store locations (as needed) ⸻ Requirements: • 1–2 years of experience as a personal assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role (preferred, not required) • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Reliable, responsible, and able to handle confidential information • Comfortable using email, Google Calendar, and basic office software • Must have reliable transportation • Flexible schedule and able to respond when urgent business matters arise ⸻ Compensation: • $350/week base • Additional hours/tasks may be paid at $16/hour (for work that exceeds regular responsibilities, such as extra errands, extended interviews, or emergency support) ⸻ How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you’d be a great fit for this role.
