5+ years in recruiting operations or related roles in high-growth SaaS/startups, ability to build automations across tools like Ashby, Juicebox, Zapier, N8N, scripting and API integration skills, and strong data-driven decision making.
Starbridge is growing at a very high velocity: we’ve grown from 0 to almost 200 enterprise customers in the last 6 months and recently raised a $42m Series A led by Craft. We're seeking a recruiting automation and operations engineer to help us build our team from 20 to 60 rapidly while maintaining an incredibly high talent bar. You’ll partner with our Head of Recruiting, COO, and hiring managers to build the infrastructure, automations, and workflows that power Starbridge’s talent engine. Your work will directly shape how quickly and intelligently we scale our team—turning recruiting into an AI-first, data-driven, and deeply efficient function. Responsibilities & Impact Own recruiting systems & automation roadmap: Design and execute the automation and AI roadmap across Ashby, Juicebox, Clay, N8N, and other connected tools to drive mass, scaled and personalized outbound to connect with candidates and drive a high velocity, seamless downstream experience for them. Being an AI-first, experimentation wizard: Run bets with across new tools channels, messaging, and agents, measure ROI, and decide when to expand or sunset. Making our recruiting data-driven: Testing & integrating additional third-party data sources such as Kaggle, Github etc., to inform to stack rank potential candidates. Streamline workflows across the funnel: Optimize how candidates move through sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offers—reducing turnaround time and improving recruiter leverage. Measure and report impact: Define & track metrics to help us optimize the recruiting function from end-to-end. Recruiting and candidates are your customers: Ensure new tools and automations feel intuitive, maintain data integrity and an exceptional candidate experience, and actually make recruiters’ lives easier. What You Bring Must Have 5+ years in Recruiting Operations, Business/Revenue Operations, People Systems, or adjacent roles in high-growth SaaS or startup environments. Demonstrated ability to design and implement sophisticated automations across tools like Ashby, Juicebox, Zapier, N8N, etc. Hands-on builder mindset—you’re comfortable scripting, connecting APIs, and experimenting quickly; you're a vibe coding savant. Strong analytical chops; you use data to make and defend process decisions. Nice to Have Familiarity with BI or SQL tools (Snowflake, Tableau, or similar). Experience integrating AI tools (ChatGPT, Juicebox, etc.) into recruiting workflows. Prior experience standing up recruiting systems from scratch in early-stage companies.
