Your Opportunity As a Mechanical Intern, you will work with close guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the direction of a senior engineer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit design computer-aided design (CAD), calculations, and field work. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken mechanical engineering design type courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to develop industry experience with an opportunity for a full-time position upon graduation. Your Key Responsibilities Participation in mechanical engineering and design of building HVAC, plumbing and fire protection, systems process piping, pumps, and equipment general arrangements including calculations and layouts. Production of BIM drawings using Revit. Performs field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed and accompanied by senior engineer. Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity. Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
