Your Opportunity Stantec is currently seeking a Project Manager, with demonstrated experience to lead environmental regulatory and project permitting efforts, supervising and mentoring staff, providing project and client management, and supporting business development opportunities. This position will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of projects, including but not limited to public utilities, new electric transmission and rebuild projects, and renewable energy projects.  Your Key Responsibilities  Environmental regulatory and permitting responsibilities include identifying project-specific environmental regulatory requirements; coordinating with resource agency personnel; writing and reviewing technical reports; developing environmental permit applications (federal, state, and local); presenting at public meetings; and facilitating successful environmental permitting of multiple and varied projects.  Project management responsibilities may include developing proposals; managing projects and budgets; building and managing project teams; coordinating with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal project staff; and performing and overseeing project multi-disciplinary technical work. Business development responsibilities may include maintaining existing client relations and collaborating to develop and pursue new clients and opportunities. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating, conducting, and/or leading field work.  The Project Manager must solve problems of significant complexity by providing original, innovative, practical, and economical solutions.  Work involves planning, directing, and coordinating complex assignments/projects, modifying established guidelines, and initiating new approaches while managing multiple projects concurrently. The selected candidate will communicate and collaborate with other Stantec professionals to ensure consistency in project execution and delivery while supporting and ensuring implementation of Stantec Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines in the execution of all work and coordinate with HSSE professionals during the execution of all phases of project planning and implementation. Join a team that’s naturally committed to the environment. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
