Stamats is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and solutions-driven digital leader to oversee our web project delivery, guide digital strategy for key accounts, and serve as a member of our management team. This role provides high-level leadership to our web team and account managers, ensuring a unified approach to digital strategy, outstanding client experiences, and operational excellence. You will help shape how Stamats delivers large-scale web transformations, guide account teams on best-in-class digital strategy, and drive process improvements that elevate both our work and our people. Web Digital Strategy & Leadership • Lead overarching digital strategy for major accounts, ensuring alignment across marketing, content, UX, and technology. Note: This role does not oversee digital marketing/SEM/analytics, but should have a general understanding of analytics. • Serve as the primary strategic partner for clients undertaking large-scale web or digital transformation initiatives. • Provide thought leadership in digital experience, higher ed trends, CMS strategy, and best practices. Web Project Leadership • Lead the Web Services team, including project managers, developers, content strategists, and designers. • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of all major web projects to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets. • Implement and refine processes for scoping, requirements gathering, risk management, QA, and launch. • Formalize our web delivery process from start to finish to streamline delivery. Team Leadership & Operational Management • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for team members. • Work with leadership on internal alignment, resource planning, and team growth. • IT management of efficient processes and software licenses. • Collaborate with leadership to improve cross-team workflows, resource planning, and team development. Thought Leadership & Industry Presence • Author thought leadership content, including articles, insights, and trend analyses. • Lead webinars and/or present at conferences as part of our growing content and engagement strategy. Innovation & New Technology • Explore emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and headless CMS platforms. • Pursue relevant certifications and continuously bring forward ideas to strengthen our digital capabilities. • Work with internal teams and leadership to incorporate new technologies into service offerings. Travel to clients and conferences. Collaborate in person at the Cedar Rapids office at least quarterly—preferred preference to those local to Cedar Rapids. Qualifications • * Must have managed beginning to end at least 10 completely different websites, which does not include subdomains. Sites must be more than 100 pages and have notable functionality. Listing these sites and your role is required to apply. • Ideal candidates have agency experience, but will accept applicants from a healthcare or higher education institution. • WordPress, Drupal, Hannon Hill Cascade, Modern Campus CMS experience • Accessibility training • Understanding of IT principles, hosting, and web technology • Comfortable presenting to clients onsite or virtually • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a given day, switching quickly • Comfortable moving forward in ambiguity and providing “real-time” strategy in a call. You consider yourself someone who can respond on the fly to questions and engage in conversations about new ideas. • Mindset of scaling and growth.
