What you'll be doing: The Content Manager is responsible for leading the planning, creation, distribution, and optimization of high-quality content across digital channels to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions. This role oversees the full content lifecycle - from strategy and ideation to execution, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. The Content Manager will manage a team of three direct reports and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative, and Product. Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Planning • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals and brand voice. • Build and maintain a content calendar that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives. • Identify new opportunities for content formats, social channels, and storytelling approaches. • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and content priorities. Content Creation & Management • Oversee the creation of engaging and effective content, including blogs, articles, social media posts, newsletters, video scripts, and multimedia assets. • Manage the end-to-end video content process - from concept development and production oversight to post-production and publishing. • Ensure all content is on-brand, optimized for SEO, and tailored to specific audiences and platforms. • Maintain content governance standards, including tone of voice, editorial guidelines, and quality control. Team Leadership • Manage and mentor a team of three content professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities. • Oversee workload distribution, project management, and performance reviews for direct reports. • Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team culture. Content Distribution & Optimization • Oversee publishing and promotion across owned, earned, and paid channels (e.g., website, social media, YouTube, email). • Work closely with digital and social media teams to maximize reach, engagement, and impact. • Implement SEO and content optimization best practices to enhance visibility and performance. Measurement & Analytics • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for content effectiveness, including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI. • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, HubSpot, or similar) to report on content performance. • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve future content strategy and execution. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in content management, digital marketing, or related field. • Proven experience managing a small team or direct reports. • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple content formats. • Hands-on experience with video production and management (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Reels, TikTok). • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
