Job Details Title – IT2 / ION Developer Location – US (Washington, DC preferred; remote candidates will also be considered) Duration of the Contract – 12+Months Contract Pay Rate – Open, DOE Skills Required • Strong experience as an ION IT2 Core Developer, including design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting of custom code, reports, and system extensions. • Modify, enhance, and maintain custom data parsers in ION IT2 using Object REXX scripting and related APIs to support onboarding and integration of banks, payments, and statements. • Develop and maintain automation and integration solutions between IT2 and enterprise systems with deep knowledge of the IT2 data model, database schema, and data flows. • Design, optimize, and maintain IT2 scripts (Object REXX, VBScript, or Visual Basic) to automate and support custom treasury processes and workflows. • Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database routines while ensuring data integrity and compliance with ION standards. • Demonstrated expert-level understanding of the IT2 data model, relationships, and reporting structures; ability to develop reports and update data to support business operations. • Build, troubleshoot, and enhance parsers to onboard and support new and existing banks for payment instruction generation, bank statement processing, and reconciliation formats. • Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing IT2 logs, identifying exceptions, and implementing long-term, preventive solutions. • Monitor IT2 system logs and performance, proactively identifying and resolving recurring issues. • Manage user access, perform routine system health checks, and coordinate scheduled and emergency maintenance activities. • Collaborate with ION vendor support for escalations, patch analysis, urgent fixes, and product updates. • Strong object-oriented scripting/programming skills with advanced troubleshooting capabilities and deep expertise in treasury operations within IT2. • Excellent documentation skills to record system changes, issue resolutions, and best practices for audit and knowledge transfer.
