Currently recruiting for Christmas Peak for our client at 2 available locations, Holbeach and Alconbury! Apply today to work as a Production Operative for our client's brand new modern facility – One of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK. Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Holbeach, Lincolnshire Free Transport provided from Boston during the Christmas Peak! The rate of pay is: Days £12.21 per hour Night £15.26 per hour Overtime is available after working 48 hours. This is a full‑time position , working 12‑hour shifts . The hours of work are: 7am to 7pm 7pm to 7am Your Time at Work As a Production Operative, your duties include: Working on an assembly line – Flowers must be inspected to a level of required quality, before adding them to the assembly line. Bunching together freshly harvested flowers, to make up flower bouquets for major retail supermarkets – You will follow a bouquet profile, informing you what type of flowers to bunch together and how many should be present in each wrap. There is no heavy lifting involved. All flowers must be handled delicately. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect Production Operative will be able to stand for the duration of the working shift. There will be a lot of handling delicate flowers, so being careful with your grip is important. The production lines move at a slow speed, however, you need to be able to focus as the line is moving and understand the responsibilities your position on the line entails. The environment will be the same temperature as outside, you need to be aware the temperature inside can change throughout the shift. Please note that if you have allergies to certain plants or foliage, you will need to check with your staffline representative to see if this role is suitable. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
