One of our top clients in the Southfield area is seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable & Payable Supervisor to join their high-performing finance team. This full-time, W2 role offers the opportunity to lead a small team while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in AR/AP operations. Responsibilities • Manage and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable departments, including 4 direct reports • Ensure billings, receivables, and cash applications are processed accurately and on time • Participate in customer and vendor set-up and maintenance processes within JDE • Liaise with customers to manage collections and resolve outstanding issues • Work with vendors to address discrepancies and arrange timely payments • Identify and correct discrepancies in accounts or billings • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the AR/AP team Qualifications • Education: Associate’s degree or higher preferred • 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role • Strong background in Accounts Receivable (AP experience is a plus) • Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries strongly preferred • Familiarity with ERP systems; JDE experience is a plus • Supervisory/leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team Benefits/Perks • A supportive team culture with tons of training and resources • A modern, easily accessible office in Southfield • High visibility with leadership and collaboration with approachable, supportive managers • Summer hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day • Fun office events, including happy hours, BBQs, and team gatherings • ~20 days PTO (vacation + sick time). • BCBS medical, Delta Dental, VSP vision. • 401(k) with 3.5% match and immediate vesting.
