Staff Up is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Cable Cutter Operators to join our growing team in Dallas, TX The Cable Cutter Operator will be responsible for operating cable cutting equipment, ensuring accuracy in measurement and quality, and supporting daily production needs. 1st Shift - TBD $18/hr Temp to Hire Opportunity! Key Responsibilities: • MUST HAVE CABLE WIRE CUTTER EXPERIENCE • Operate and monitor cable cutting machines safely and efficiently • Measure, cut, and prepare cables according to production specifications • Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Assist in packaging and material handling as required • Operate cable production equipment such as pay-off stands, take-up machines, jacket stripping machine, etc. • Load cable into machines as per work instructions. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure smooth operation • Record production and self-inspection data accurately • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines Requirements: • Previous experience in cable manufacturing and cutting preferred • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and measurements • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Physical ability to stand, lift, and handle cable materials during shifts • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment • Ability to operate ERP/MES system • Ability to work independently and in a team • Comfortable with standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) • Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
