We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who is sharp, organized, and eager to take ownership of financial accuracy and reporting with a path to grow into Accounting Manager as the company expands. This role is hands on and ideal for a strong accountant or experienced bookkeeper who wants a broader and more impactful position inside a manufacturing and consumer products environment. You will handle daily accounting tasks including A/P, A/R, reconciliations, cost tracking, and month end close support. This is not a review only role. You will be directly involved in building a clean and scalable financial foundation. You will gain exposure to financial statements, treasury management, P&L reporting, payroll processes, costing, and performance metrics. As the company scales, this position is designed to transition into Accounting Manager level responsibility. Key Responsibilities • Manage A/P, A/R, vendor payments, and customer invoicing • Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow tracking • Process payroll entries and maintain payroll records • Track COGS, production costs, and inventory with operations • Assist with preparing P&L statements and management reports • Support monthly close, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy • Maintain documentation and support tax filings and audit prep • Improve accounting workflows and support ERP processes Qualifications • Three to five years experience in accounting • Skilled in financial reporting, month end close activities, and inventory account reconciliations • Experience in A/P, A/R, and payroll management • Strong Excel proficiency and familiarity with accounting systems • Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite is a plus • Detail oriented, organized, deadline reliable • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting or Finance), equivalent hands-on experience considered • Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus • CPA or progress toward certification is a plus Benefits and Compensation • Salary 85,000 to 100,000 based on experience • Health insurance • Dental and vision coverage (Q2 2026 planned) • Paid time off • Paid Jewish holidays • 401(k) with company match
