Provide front-line support and reporting for Epic systems, manage QDAC requests, present dashboards to executives, and coordinate with multiple health system departments.
5+ years Epic experience with report writing, advanced SQL and data visualization skills, healthcare environment experience preferred, certifications in Clarity/Caboodle, and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Wyoming The successful candidate will utilize their strong communication (both verbal & written) and analytical skills to assist St. Peter's Analytics and Innovation team in providing high-quality front-line support for our Epic System. This individual will be responsible and work closely with all areas of the health system (Leadership, Quality, Information Systems, Informatics, Revenue Cycle, and Nursing) and external stakeholders in providing reporting support. The creates reports and data extracts from the Epic Reporting Systems, including but not limited to, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Slicer Dicer, and any reporting applications outside of the Epic System, e.g. PowerBI. This position must be able to present and communicate findings professionally to management/ end-users. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the data access points to ensure file security. This position collects information regarding potential enhancements, functionality, and business needs. The candidate is able to effectively create reports using specifications/extracts provided from an end-user and external stakeholders. This position requires management of the QDAC Committee and requires management of new QDAC requests and assignments to team members. This position requires managing/presenting CIC Dashboard Metrics to providers and executives on a monthly basis. This position provides end-user direct support or coordinating assistance from our other IS support areas as required. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems required; OR related field from an accredited or a closely related field of study; OR a combination of education and/or experience. TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: Clarity/Caboodle certified; Clinical and/or Revenue data model focused and/or certified. Cogito Tools Administration preferred. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of Epic experience with report writing and data analytics required. Work experience within a healthcare environment preferred. Advanced SQL skills. Advanced Working knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse required SSIS, SSRS, SQL (writing extracts, packaging, deploying). Vendor management required. Advanced experience with data visualization tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc. Able to provide leadership/mentorship to other teammates/end users at SPH with Epic tools (RWB, SD, Dashboard). Be a primary contact for end-users if they are having issues with more advanced reporting needs. Able to help build advanced components, network in RWB, expertise in record viewer, linking master files. Professional level experience working with clinical information systems and developing reports required. Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation and report writing. Experience with troubleshooting complex query and reporting problems including logic error, design and performance problems and recommend, develop and implement solutions. The Report Writer/Analyst must demonstrate a commitment to working through complex problems and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy. Aptitudes: Demonstrated ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision. Demonstrated ability to plan and use time wisely and to effectively manage multiple projects with multiple timelines. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups of people, including the ability to persuade others' decision-making and present information in a positive light. Demonstrated understanding of the HIPAA regulations. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with customers to meet identified needs and to cooperatively resolve issues and implement solutions (within the HIPAA requirements and St. Peter's policy). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex query and reporting problems including logic error, design and performance problems and recommend, develop and implement solutions. Demonstrated ability for analytical skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting, with the ability to select and run queries, collect and analyze system performance data, and produce substantive reports and analyses. Demonstrated ability for attention to detail with proven ability to effectively manage time, see projects through to completion, organize priorities, and effectively address complex, urgent issues as they arise.
