Your efforts will help facilitate access to care and enhance the overall patient experience. What You'll Do: - You will engage with patients to understand their needs and provide appropriate guidance and support. - You will coordinate with healthcare providers and departments to schedule appointments and follow-ups. - You will manage patient inquiries and resolve concerns efficiently and empathetically. - You will document patient interactions accurately in the system to maintain up-to-date records. - You will assist in triaging patient calls to ensure urgent needs are prioritized. - You will collaborate with team members to improve patient engagement processes. - You will maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations and policies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in patient engagement, customer service, or healthcare support roles. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations. - Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center or access center. - Knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes. - Bilingual abilities to support non-English speaking patients. - Certification in patient navigation or related healthcare fields.
