Analyze and manage global trade data using customs systems and tariffs knowledge, perform data wrangling, visualization, and analytics to support trade advisory functions.
Requires familiarity with customs ACE system, tariffs, HTSUS, Excel proficiency, and experience in data analytics or related fields, with preferred skills in Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or programming.
Job Title: Global Trade Advisory Data Specialist Location: Remote Opportunity Please note, this role is available on W2 only Job Description: This is a remote Global Trade Advisory role. Trade Data Knowledge • Familiarity with Customs Automated Commercial Environment ( ACE ) system, particularly Entry Summary and Reporting modules • Familiarity with supplemental tariffs, such as reciprocal tariffs, Section 232, etc. • Experience working with Chapter 99, Subchapter III of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States ( HTSUS ) Tech/Data General Requirements: • Experience with basic Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF/COUNTIF, etc.) • Experience in at least one of the following areas: • Data wrangling • Data engineering • Data visualization • Data analytics • Data science • Understanding of how to join, filter, append, and summarize datasets • Understanding of different data types (string/text, numeric, boolean, etc.) Preferred: • Experience with Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) array functions (SORT, FILTER, UNIQUE, etc.) • Experience with at least one of the following: • Alteryx • Microsoft Power Apps (Power Query, Power BI, etc.) or equivalent • Tableau • SQL • Programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.) • Other tools/skills related to the above
