We are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President (VP) of Business Development to lead growth initiatives through strategic partner engagement, sales execution, and market expansion. This role is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, managing key relationships, driving performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to align sales execution with organizational strategy. Responsibilities: • Strategic Execution: Translate corporate growth objectives into actionable business development strategies that drive new opportunities, partner acquisition, and revenue growth across assigned regions or segments. • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with brokers, consultants, TPAs, providers, and other key stakeholders to expand S&S Health’s presence and solution adoption. • Revenue Ownership: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs related to client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. • CRM-Driven Sales Management: Utilize HubSpot or equivalent CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and enhance visibility into team activities and client lifecycle engagement. • Customer Experience Oversight: Partner with internal teams to monitor and improve the client and partner experience, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction throughout the business development lifecycle. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, operations, and executive leadership to align growth efforts with market positioning, solution delivery, and overall business strategy. • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning to identify emerging opportunities and inform go-to-market strategies. Qualifications: • Experience & Leadership: Significant experience in business development, sales, or partnerships with a proven ability to meet revenue goals in healthcare, employee benefits, or insurance. • CRM Expertise: Demonstrated experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) for pipeline management, performance tracking, and sales optimization. • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of self-funded and level-funded health plans and related healthcare ecosystems. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and build trust externally. • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze data, evaluate performance metrics, and use insights to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement. • Organizational Agility: Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. • Travel: Willingness to travel regionally and to attend key industry events and corporate meetings as needed.
