We strive to be the apparel distributor of choice while inspiring and fostering growth for customers, employees and suppliers through our core values of service, deep relationships, innovation, continuous improvement and accountability ABOUT THE ROLE S&S Activewear is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Program Manager, Business Intelligence to lead the development, optimization, and governance of analytics programs that support transportation, logistics, pricing, and operational performance. This role will serve as a key partner to Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams, delivering actionable insights through advanced modeling, dashboarding, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical expertise with strong business acumen to drive cost control, operational efficiency, and scalable growth across our wholesale apparel distribution network. SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Exempt While we prefer candidates to be based near one of our distribution centers to support stronger collaboration and operational alignment, remote work is available for the right candidate. This role requires up to 30% travel, depending on business needs. WHAT YOU WILL DO Analytics Strategy and Execution * Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions across transportation, logistics, pricing, and operational functions. * Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate rate structures, freight spend, and profitability across modes and regions. * Own and optimize pricing models, KPIs, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making and operational execution. * Design data models that incorporate market conditions, seasonality, volume fluctuations, and mode-specific dynamics (FTL, LTL, parcel). * Partner with Tech and Finance teams to implement enhancements that improve data accuracy, automation, and visibility. Freight Audit and Spend Management * Oversee freight audit and payment analytics, including invoice accuracy, exception tracking, claims recovery, and month-end accrual validation. * Collaborate with third-party freight audit providers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements. * Support annual freight budgeting and forecasting efforts with historical spend analysis and predictive modeling. Reporting and Visualization * Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to track performance metrics such as cost per unit, exception rates, carrier compliance, and payment timeliness. * Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. * Ensure data integrity across ERP, TMS, and freight payment platforms, lead system integration and enhancement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Governance * Serve as the primary analytics liaison to Transportation, Finance, Sourcing, and Commercial teams. * Establish and manage governance processes for pricing evaluation, freight spend analysis, and performance reporting. * Lead communications and presentations to internal stakeholders, providing insights that inform broader business strategy. * Stay informed on industry trends in transportation, logistics, and analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (master’s preferred). * 8–10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or logistics finance, preferably within high-volume distribution or wholesale environments. * Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL or BigQuery. * Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and freight payment platforms (e.g., Cass). * Strong financial modeling, data visualization, and problem-solving skills. * Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives. * Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
