Essential Job Functions Prepare reconciliations for cash depository accounts Analyze and research variances, resolve issues and summarize results for reconciling items Work with field locations to resolve cash discrepancies Analyze recurring issues and assist in developing process improvements Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met Create journal entries to clear discrepancies once a resolution has been achieved Maintain critical accounting and finance documentation that will be useful in both bank and financial statement audits Support bank audits Assist in the development and oversight of policies and procedures and internal control environment Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses Assist with Treasury related special projects as needed Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting/reconciliation work experience Experience working with large data sets Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cause and effect and communicate results in a structured manner High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve business issues Strong background in general ledger, financial and GAAP accounting practices Excellent written and oral communication and research skills Advanced proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel Personable, Organized, & Attention to Detail are all traits that are a must Must be a self-starter NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
