Role Description The Senior Marketing Manager is a newly created hands-on role that turns strategy into execution to drive growth, client engagement, and brand visibility. Reporting to the Director of Sales, will own all aspects of corporate and sales marketing including, LinkedIn end-to-end, and leveraging CRM to target programs, and produce high-quality client materials (sales collateral, trade show/conference assets, decks) as we scale our presence across defense and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate blends creativity with analysis, thinks proactively and strategically, manages 100% of the Marketing budget, and collaborating with Sales, Client Services, and leadership to deliver measurable outcomes. This is a 100% remote position with opportunities to contribute directly to pipeline impact, represent Squirrel Compliancy Solutions across industry events, and elevate our brand across digital channels. We're looking for a forward-thinking marketer who proactively brings ideas to the table, tracks emerging trends, and evolves the roadmap accordingly. If you're an executor who can write strong copy, create compelling visuals, and build processes from a clean slate-while offering informed recommendations to leadership—this role is ideal for you. Responsibilities • Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness and demand across DoD, federal, and private-sector markets globally. • Develop and manage entire marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across campaigns, content, and events. • Own campaign planning, spend forecasting, and performance analysis for both U.S. government and international audiences. • Partner with leadership and sales to create high-impact collateral: executive ready powerpoint decks, presentations, one-pagers, infographics, and video assets that accelerate the sales cycle. • Write and edit branded content ie. (Whitepapers, social content, update web site content) • Create graphics/visual assets to support sales, client engagements, and event presence • Drive brand consistency across all channels—digital, social, print, video, and live events. • Plan and execute major marketing events and define Squirrel Compliancy Solutions presence across public and private sector conferences. • Analyze engagement metrics, conversion data, and campaign ROI to refine future marketing investment strategies. Experience & Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing in government & defense technology. • Demonstrated success managing marketing operations and budget accountability. • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for both government and private-sector audiences. • Excellent writing, storytelling, and content creation skills with strong creative direction. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, RunwayML, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, YouTube Content, Microsoft Office Suite, and Wix. Preferred Experience • Experience launching marketing initiatives for SaaS or automation platforms. • Ability to translate complex technical products into compelling global narratives. • Skilled at balancing creative vision with operational discipline and fiscal management.
