Must be a current student in a relevant engineering or computer science field, with programming skills in C/C++, and experience with embedded microcontrollers and communication interfaces.
• About Us: SQUID3 Space is a premier provider of advanced thermal control materials for satellites and space systems. • About the role: You will support rapid prototyping and flight hardware design & fabrication for an ISS active payload experiment launching in 2026. Responsibilities • Lead the design and fabrication of spaceflight electronics, PCB, sensors, and thermal control devices • Develop flight control codes for an active payload for the International Space Station (ISS) • Manage Requirements for Low SWaP System Design (Sensor Selection / Sensor Placement / Power Supply) • PCB Design and Mechanical Integration • EEE Parts and Materials Selection and Sourcing • Hardware/Software Functional Testing Qualifications • Current Bachelors or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent fields. • Programming in C/C++ • Experience with electro-mechanical products, embedded microcontroller and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, RS-422, RS-485).
