6-8 years IT program management experience, 2-3 years managing technical teams, ability to obtain security clearance, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Description: • Support the daily cross-functional operational readiness of VA’s enterprise Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environments, along with associates supporting the program. • Manage and lead a team of direct reports, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. • Participate as an active member of the enterprise program, contributing to roadmap discussions, guiding team members, and helping identify and close gaps in the program model. • Oversee sustainment activities, release planning, upgrades, and performance monitoring to ensure platform stability and scalability. • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure high-quality delivery, contract alignment, and effective collaboration. • Translate organizational needs into scalable platform solutions that improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive mission outcomes. • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and certification readiness within the team. • Provide clear communication and engagement with stakeholders, escalating issues and ensuring alignment with program objectives. • Maintain compliance with IT standards, governance models, and security controls. • Track and report on program progress, risks, and outcomes in alignment with COE leadership priorities. • Act as a senior escalation point for issues that impact platform sustainment and delivery. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, OR equivalent professional experience. • 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT program management, enterprise applications, or digital platforms. • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience managing direct reports in a technical or application management capacity. • Demonstrated ability to support large programs, balancing technical oversight with business and mission needs. • Proven leadership skills with experience developing and supporting cross-functional teams. • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including executive-level engagement. • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance. • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
