Manage and monitor sports data in real-time, provide front-line client support, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with global teams for 24/7 coverage.
Must have advanced soccer knowledge, strong technical skills, high reliability for shift work including nights and weekends, and experience in sports or operations support preferred.
Role & Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the operational data lifecycle – including data collection, monitoring, delivery, and client support. If you have a strong knowledge of sports leagues, keen on attention to detail, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this is the opportunity for you! This role is computer based and fully remote. • Real-time monitoring of live, pre-match, and post-match data • Manage front-line support through various support platforms (Zendesk, Slack) • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in match data • Manage pre/post-game sports data and odds content across leagues, teams, players, and statistics • Follow critical support and operational workflows to deliver best-in-class client experience • Deliver game lines, player, and team odds for aggregation across sportsbooks • Ensure accuracy and quality of data entry • Contribute to the advancement of best practice operational processes and procedures • Stakeholder in the quality enhancement and development of products and tools • Prompt attendance for shifts • Collaborating with global teams to ensure 24/7 coverage Qualifications • Flexible to work mornings, afternoons, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays to fit the requirements of a 24/7 business • High punctuality and reliability to meet the needs of sports schedules across the world • Passion for and advanced knowledge of soccer is a must • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative Operations team environment • High English proficiency (verbally and written) • Journalistic minded integrity for finding and understanding small details • Strong technical skills and ability to navigate websites, API endpoints, and commercial platforms • Experience in the sports industry or in an Operations or Support environment is a plus Additional Notes • Interviews will be conducted virtually - must have a working camera and microphone with high internet connectivity Please email a resume and cover letter to jobs@sportsdata.io to apply.
