Position Overview: The Marketing Program Manager is an execution-focused professional who owns marketing operations, project coordination, and process discipline. This role combines systematic planning and relentless follow-through with technical literacy that enables clear communication across engineering and sales teams. The successful candidate will ensure marketing initiatives run smoothly through structured coordination, proactive relationship management, and meticulous documentation. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing. Essential Job Functions: Manage complete marketing project portfolio including campaigns, content initiatives, and tradeshow calendar with ownership of timeline, budget, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination Manage trade show and event logistics from planning through post-event analysis and follow-up Maintain marketing calendar, ensure cross-functional coordination, and proactively identify scheduling conflicts Establish, document, and continuously improve marketing workflows, processes, and project management standards that enable efficient execution and institutional knowledge transfer Coordinate with internal teams, engineering/sales/operations, to align marketing initiatives with business priorities, technical requirements, and customer needs Track all active projects with clear status reporting, metrics, and proactive communication of risks and blockers Support technical content development by translating technical capabilities and customer requirements into accurate marketing materials Maintain organized documentation, project records, and team knowledge systems that enable continuity and efficiency Train and coordinate with team members on marketing processes, tools, and best practices Schedule and facilitate meetings that drive decisions and forward momentum; use email for recaps, not decision-making Coordinate co-marketing opportunities, joint marketing initiatives, and supplier-sponsored programs Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency optimizations Document, maintain, and enforce marketing workflows and standard operating procedures Coordinate supplier participation in trade shows, events, and promotional campaigns Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, project management, or communications 5+ years of professional experience in marketing operations, project management, partner/channel marketing, or B2B marketing coordination Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines simultaneously without dropping deliverables Strong follow-through and accountability with track record of enforcing processes and meeting deadlines Comfortable booking meetings and proactively driving decisions Self-directed worker who thrives with autonomy and minimal oversight Excellent organizational skills with systematic approach to project coordination and documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create clear recaps and updates Desired Qualifications: Experience in B2B marketing operations, preferably in aerospace, defense, electronics distribution, or manufacturing industries Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and coordinating external vendor relationships Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent project management credentials Experience with trade show management, event logistics, and conference coordination Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and project management tools Experience with marketing budget management, ROI tracking, and vendor contract negotiation Track record of process documentation, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvements Described by colleagues as "organized," "persistent," "the person who makes things happen," or "gets things done"
